Norvent first started servicing mechanical plant back in 2008 at JLR Solihull. The following year we were awarded the contract for servicing at JLR Gaydon, Whitley & other satellite sites. After that, Norvent then took on-board heater services at other companies such as Aston Martin Lagonda, and Sandwell Homes.
The servicing team here at Norvent also carry out all commissioning of Nortek heater installations at various sites for example, Heritage Motor Centre, The NEC Birmingham and Thyssenkrup, Citizen Machinery.
There are various types of heater units that we service, including, floor and wall mounted units, platform (high level) units and roof line units. These can range from the smallest of traditional heaters i.e. Ideal, Worcester or Baxi, to the larger industrial units such as Powrmatic, Benson and Dravo AHU units, which can have up to 13 burners. Most Production/warehousing settings also require servicing of Ambi-Rad door heaters and high level Nor-Ray-Vac radiant tube heaters. In addition to servicing heaters there is also consideration to the support infrastructure i.e. flue fans and control systems, filter changes, ductwork cleaning.
